The First Intifada began on December 9, 1987 and lasted until September 13, 1993. It was a six year long uprising by the Palestinians against the brutal IOF.

What is the Meaning of Intifada?

Intifada translates to “shaking off,” but it has a more profound meaning for the Palestinians. The real definition is resistance, revolution, uprising — fighting back against the European Colonial Project known as Isr–l. According to international law, the Palestinians have a right to self determination, including nonviolent and violent defiance against their occupier. Thus the term “intifada” is used to define the Palestinian resistance movement.

The Palestinian Right to Resistance

December 8, 1987 marked a turning point for Palestine. In Jabalya, an IOF truck crashed into vehicles carrying Palestinian laborers — killing four and wounding 10. The people of Gaza overtook the streets in protest. The next day, December 9, 1987, an IOF terrorist murdered a protestor and the First Intifada was born. While Liberal Western Democracies were lecturing an oppressed people, it was obvious pacifism wasn’t working. The Palestinians put their human rights above Western decorum.

The six year long uprising ended with 1,070 Palestinians killed by IOF terrorists — including 237 children. The Isr–li settler gangs, who are the most extreme zionists, murdered 54 Palestinians. Aside from the bloodshed, 175,000 Palestinians were arrested, and The Apartheid Regime demolished 2,000 homes. Under the orders of Yitzhak Rabin, then Isr–li Defense Minister, the IOF was told to break the bones of protestors — typical maiming tactics of The Apartheid Regime.

Using rocks and molotov cocktails, the Palestinians fought against Isr–li terrorists — who were equipped, trained, funded and completely backed by the American government. Since they didn’t have access to real weapons, this Palestinian resistance movement put on masks and ambushed the IOF with stones.

The World’s Most Immoral Army dealt with the uprising by attacking random Palestinians. 17-year-old Wael Joudeh and his cousin Osamah were the victims of Isr–li violence. They were coming back to their home in Nablus, after grazing sheep, and noticed the IOF following them. Isr–li terrorists beat them for 30 minutes, and broke their bones with rocks. The IOF wanted to physically and mentally destroy the Palestinians.

“I was born to kill Palestinians,” the [IOF terrorist] screamed at Wael.

“One of them twisted my arm against my back, while another started pounding my wrist with a stone, attempting to break my hand completely,” [Wael] said.

Unbeknownst at the time, this brutal beating was secretly filmed from afar. This video was sent to journalists, and the place were Wael was held hostage was swarming with journalists. This video is the only reason he was able to walk away without being subject to more torture. However, the IOF would continue to take Wael hostage on multiple occasions.

Genocidal Media wanted to portray the First Intifada as nothing more than a bunch of angry men unjustifiably throwing rocks at the IOF. Yes, Isr–li terrorists soiled their diapers at the sight of Palestinian men, but the First Intifada also had a significant women’s movement. Women’s groups were organizing boycotts against Apartheid Regime products. The acts of boycotting and self reliance put economic pressure on Isr–l, similar to today’s BDS Movement.

Palestinian women also setup underground schools, health clinics, workshops, and organized secret political gatherings. The Apartheid Regime responded with the usual intimidation tactics, including threats of a 10 year prison sentence for attending secret meetings. One activist, Naila Ayash, was was given two inhumane choices by Isr–li authorities — either raise her 6-month-old baby in prison or abandon him. Naila and her infant son spent 6 months together as hostages in the women’s detention facility, and he was only the child there.

The Apartheid Regime understands only one language — Resistance.
